Our events programme for 2023 kicks off with two sets of workshops by Graham Fitch which will help you go beyond the notes to select suitable repertoire that inspires you and to deliver satisfying performances of it!
Awakening the Imagination - Recording & Resources
In this first workshop, Graham Fitch will show how to open up your imagination by exploring possible narratives and imagery using a selection of pieces from all levels. Graham will give ideas and inspire you to create your own artistic image of a piece for a personal interpretation that is meaningful to you.
The vast repertoire available to pianists is a wonderful blessing but can make selecting suitable pieces a challenge. In a set of three online workshops, Graham Fitch gives tips for choosing pieces and presents a bouquet of repertoire ideas at different levels, including popular works and hidden gems. This promises to be an enjoyable showcase of piano music that will help you select pieces that inspire you and support your piano playing goals!

These events take place in our studios and all ticketholders will receive high quality recordings afterwards. Therefore if you cannot join us for any of the sessions you can watch them at your convenience at a later stage.
