Voice this interval of a fifth to the upper note, the first note of the melodic line. Even though the dynamic marking is pp, play the line firmly and with intensity, as though played by a cello. Let the music start to relax, getting gradually softer and slower to the end. The E# may be taken by the LH if more convenient. Take care over this cadence.
